Canine Pet Rescue was one of only 4 rescues contacted in early April in regards to a large puppy mill operation .. happening yet again in Georgia. We knew there were a variety of breeds involved, and that it included German Shepherds. We knew we would help - we just didn't really know what we were getting into at the time. As more information came forward, we learned of the sad situation of hundreds of dogs.
We were lucky enough to partner with several other rescues, and save some of the first dogs off the property. We will be working with authorities and assisting with any additional dogs that can be saved from their deplorable situation.

UPDATE: GA Department of Agriculture has again refused to take action against a breeder, allowing dogs to suffer in deplorable conditions. Channel 11 is airing a series about this Liberty County puppy mill starting 5/23/19. Links will be posted here.
